Two new Committee members

We are happy to announce that director at Berliner Festspiele, Dr. Thomas Oberender, and Chief dramaturg of the Theatre of Nations in Moscow, Roman Dolzhanskiey are the two new members of the International Ibsen Award jury.The rest of the jury are:
Chairman Per Boye-Hansen, Therese Bjørneboe, Sir Brian McMaster, Christine Schneider and Hanne Tømta.

Dr. Thomas Oberender and Roman Dolzhanskiy are two persons with a unique competence and experience within the international theater community.
Roman Dolzhanskiy has, as a curator, critic and festival manager an extensive international network.
Dr. Thomas Oberender is also one of the leading experts on his field and has, as a playwright, dramaturge and festival leader, collaborated with many of today´s leading playwrights and theater directors.
The involvement of these two persons gives the jury reinforcement, a stronger expertise and a wider international impact.
